Jinx's Zapper Pistol

Inspired by Netflix’s Arcane and Jinx’s iconic weapon from League of Legends, this replica Zapper was brought to life under a tight 1.5-week deadline for the 2024 Holiday Matsuri Convention. Originally envisioned as a simple cosplay accessory, this project quickly became a high-detail, convention-ready centerpiece that captures the energy and flair of one of the series’ most unpredictable characters.

The Zapper’s construction features a combination of 3D-printed parts, mold-cast components, and hand-sculpted details, all meticulously crafted for durability and accuracy. Lightweight resin was used for the barrel and main body to maintain balance while ensuring structural integrity. The textured handle wrap and intricate rivets were hand painted to match the show’s gritty aesthetic. Metallic accents were polished to evoke the weapon's industrial, steampunk-inspired design, while airbrushed weathering added depth and character.
